How much power (watts) you need for your home depends on a number of factors.

Older homes with poorer insulation (typically built before 1997) will require more heating than newer homes.
If you live in a colder part of the country where outdoor temperatures can drop below average, more heating will also be necessary.

The packaging of our products provides a general guide to the area each product can cover.

As a general rule, a well-insulated home in a mild climate can manage with 50–60 W per square meter, while a poorly insulated home in a cold area may require 90–120 W per square meter or more.

In general, we recommend slightly oversizing relative to the calculated need. This ensures a more even distribution of heat, lower surface temperature on the panel heaters, and increases the lifespan of the products.
